Mr James C. Donahue established The Donahue Corporation in 1962. It all started with an idea for a farm implement carrier that would lay flat on the ground to be loaded, and then pushed back upon the axles for transporting.

We began by building the patented implement carrier. We have built and distributed over 50,000 implement carriers throughout the United States and several foreign countries, including OEM contracts for Allis, Massey and John Deere. Steele trailers of all types are now manufactured by Donahue for work in agriculture, construction, ranching, industry and recreational uses.

Located near Durham, KS on the edge of the Flint Hills, we maintain an adequate inventory for prompt delivery and will custom build a trailer to meet your specifications. The company produces a broad line of trailers for agricultural and industrial use. Many unique and original ideas used in the trailer industry today were innovations by The Donahue Corporation.

Before production on any trailer begins, it is first field tested in actual conditions and continues to be used on ranching and farming operations to ensure a dependable product. We take pride in manufacturing with quality materials, assembling in jigs, and ensuring quality workmanship. Our goal is to give our customers the best trailer produced in the industry today.

In October, 2013, The Donahue Corporation became Donahue Manufacturing, LLC with Doug Kjellin taking over ownership after the passing of Jim Donahue. Doug has a passion for continuing the quality workmanship and outstanding products for which Donahue is known. With a look to the future, Donahue Manufacturing will continue to build strong, reliable and long-lasting stock & combo trailers, flat beds, expandables, implement carriers, contractor trailers, grain trailers and more. Contact Doug, or our lead salesman Mike Stika and you’ll get excellent service, a superior product and the confidence that Donahue Manufacturing will be there for all your hauling needs. You can always count on a Donahue trailer. When there’s work to do – Donahue!
